some more information
uses?Indium is used as a raw material for many electronics. Mainly, Indium is used to coat the "flat panel display" industry. However, it is only useful when it is formed with tin-oxide. TV's, computer monitors, displays, and mobile phones all have some form of Indium (mostly coated on the glass screens for "liquid crystal displays" and to protect glass screens). As well as that, Indium is used to coat the bearings of high speed monitors since Indium distributes lubricating oil easily. Since Indium is as reflective as silver but does not tarnish as quickly, it is used in mirrors also. Indium is not used in our bodies at all.

DangersWatch out! Indium is not important or beneficial for human beings at all! If people inhale Indium, it could result in kidney, heart, liver, and other organs becoming damaged. Indium will also irritate the lungs and skin if it makes contact. Under no circumstances should Indium be inhaled or used for medicine purposes by pregnant women. If used, it could create birth defects for the unborn child.

Wetting glassHuh? Wetting glass? A cool fact is that Indium actually "wets ceramics," such as glass. This means that Indium alloys, in a liquid form, acts like water on glass.
